New thermosensor technology enables 4-factor early fire detection
The MultiSensor-TI is the latest MultiSensor technology with integrated thermal image sensor for monitoring critical plant conditions and early fire detection. In addition to pure thermal monitoring, the sensor also enables motion detection of persons with direction of movement as well as the number of persons.
Compared to thermal cameras, the sensor has the advantage that it is data protection compliant and links additional sensors with the thermal evaluation. For early fire detection, this means that up to four factors (thermal image, CO, air quality, room temperature) are evaluated for reliable detection.
The MultiSensor-TI also offers an SNMP interface for integration into most network management systems. In addition, the device can be combined with an AlarmManager-PRO – the Kentix alarm control panel. This makes it possible to send alarms also by SMS.
The MultiSensor-TI is powered via Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) or a separate plug-in power supply unit.
